Vital Harvest Store will accept personal cheques or Australia Post money orders made payable to ‘Vital Harvest Natural Grocers'. Purchases made by this method will only be dispatched once we have cleared the cheque or money order through our bank.
All goods will be dispatched within 48 hours of the order being placed (except for cheque payments, see above). Australia Post deliveries take an average of 2-5 working days but may be longer for interstate or overseas deliveries or quicker to local or capital cities.
In the case you place an order for product that subsequently becomes unavailable or there is a delay in delivery Vital Harvest will contact you via email and phone within 24 hours to advise you of the situation and the options available to you:
- Immediate refund
- Wait until the product is available
- Replace the product with a substitute product
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars.
It rarely happens, but if a product is faulty, please fill in the form on the Contact Us page and let us know. Please don't return anything without requesting a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
Any product that's faulty on delivery will be replaced. If we cannot replace the item, we will either offer you a refund or a suitable substitute. It is your choice which option you take. Notification of a faulty item on delivery must be reported within 48 hours of your delivery. After this period, any faulty item will be subject to that manufacturers warranty procedures and time frame. This differs between manufacturers. Please contact us for further details. Please note, we are bound by the decisions made by the manufacturer and/or distributor of the product. The staff at Vital Harvest do not make the decisions on whether a fault is covered under warranty.
Photographic proof is usually enough for a faulty product. If you cannot provide photographic proof of the fault, you will be required to return the product to us. We will cover the postage of the replacement product being shipped back to you, but it is your responsibility to ship the faulty item back to us (unless it was faulty on delivery), but only after you receive authorisation to do so.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Please read the following information carefully and contact us BEFORE returning anything. We DO NOT accept returns unless we have issued an RMA number. All refunds & exchanges need to be applied for within 14 days of the delivery of your order. Returns must come back to us within 7 days of the RMA number being issued. Items discounted or on sale cannot be returned for exchange or refund because you have changed your mind. They will only be accepted back if the product was not as advertised.
Consumables (skin care, cleaning products etc.) can only be returned if they came with a factory seal and it is still in tact. Not all products come with a factory seal. If you think you may want to return a consumable item, please ask us if it has a factory seal before purchasing. If it doesn't, we can seal the item before sending it out.
It is your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the item to us in the same condition you received it in. A restocking fee of $5 applies for each item you return for a refund (to a maximum of $20 per order). If you choose to receive store credit instead of a refund, the restocking fee will be waived.
Please contact us first for an RMA number before returning anything. Once the item has been returned and inspected, you will be issued with a refund or store credit.
If goods are not as they were advertised, we will process a refund and cover postage costs, but please note, colour variations between your computer screen and the product you end up with are NOT included in this refund policy. Colour variations between computer screens vary greatly and we cannot guarantee a completely accurate depiction of the colour of a product on your PC.
While we have consulted with a naturopath before carefully choosing our stock, we cannot guarantee that you will not have an allergic reaction to a product in our store. While all our products are natural, plenty of people have allergic reactions to natural products (like garlic or lavendar for example). If you are uncertain about any product, please seek professional advise before using. We do not exchange or refund on the basis of allergic reactions to products.
In the rare instance that an error is made on the advertised price more than 10% below what it's supposed to be, either on our website or in our weekly newsletter, we reserve the right to correct the error.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.
GENERAL COMPETITION - Terms and Conditions of entry
These General Competition Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions run by the Promoter. They may be amended or varied from time to time by the Promoter. Special Terms and Conditions may apply to particular contests in which case, the Special Terms and Conditions will be highlighted on the competition/promotion page.
The Promoter is Vital Harvest Natural Grocers (ABN 58 113 877 909) of Brisbane, Queensland ("the Promoter").
2. WHO MAY ENTER
The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are Australian residents who are not employees of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate, or the immediate family of such employees. "Immediate family" means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee.
3. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions and any Special Terms and Conditions appearing on the website specific to the particular competition.
4. LIMITATIONS ON ENTRY
Participants may only enter the competition once, unless the Special Terms and Conditions specify otherwise. Only the first received entry will be valid if more than one entry is received from a participant.
5. HOW TO ENTER AND SELECTION OF WINNERS
For competitions that are a game of skill: entrants are required to submit a creative answer to a question. Winners will be selected by a panel of representatives of the Promoter who, at their discretion, will select the best answer/s based upon originality, creativity, and adherence to the word limit. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
For competitions that are a game of chance: entrants must submit an answer to a question. Entries will be drawn at random. The first entry (or entries) drawn where the question has been correctly answered, will win.
The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every entrant. No correspondence will be entered into.
All prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable, redeemable for cash or for resale. In the event that a prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes unclaimed after a period of one month from the date of notification of the winner may be forfeited and used by the Promoter at the discretion of the Promoter.
Prize collection method will be listed on the competition page. Prizes will be posted to the address nominated by the winner/s. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for any lost or misdirected mail.
7. NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
Winners will be notified by email.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. Entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be disregarded. No responsibility is taken for late or misdirected email.

If for any reason a competition does not run for its duration due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter is not responsible for any:
(a) malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
(b) failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter; nor
(c) any injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the competition or down loading any materials in a competition.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
